Beer has independent shops, local businesses and tourist attractions – many of which are family run and have been here for generations!
Hungry and Thirsty?
You can get more than a beer in Beer. The food is delicious too. Visit our where to eat page and find out where the hottest spots in town are.
Where to Stay
Come and stay in the local Hotel, one of the many B&B’s or Self-Catering Cottages, or at Beer Head Caravan Park – where you can also camp if you wish.
Whether you love sitting at one of the beach cafes watching the world go by or you take a Self-Drive or Mackerel Fishing Trip out in the bay, the beach is one of our star attractions. Beer is situated on the Jurassic Coast – England’s first World Heritage Site – and you can find out more by visiting the Heritage Centre just at the top of the beach. Take a walk in either direction along the South West Coastal Path for stunning views of Lyme Bay. We also have the fabulous Quarry Caves – well worth a visit! – and a national attraction at Pecorama, which is a great family day out. There are lots of other really good things to do in Beer and in the local area – that’s if you have time of course in your hectic Regatta Week schedule!
Beer has many businesses who support Regatta – please support them during your stay.
